Seen from above, a P-Shape conservatory does exactly what its name suggests: a long lean-to section forms the stem, and a rounded Victorian bay forms the bowl of the 'P'. The result is genuinely two rooms in one — most of our customers use the long wing as a dining room or playroom and the curved bay as a lounge looking down the garden. It's a design for larger, usually detached homes where a single-shape conservatory would feel lost against the elevation, and it's the closest a conservatory gets to living like a full extension — at a fraction of the cost. Modern multiwall polycarbonate is a world away from the thin, noisy sheets of the 1990s — its layered air chambers insulate surprisingly well, it's lightweight, tough, and it trims a meaningful amount off the project cost. A sound choice for sheltered spots and sensible budgets.
